NLC India Limited's (NLCIL) Talabira Open cast project's (OCP) coal production stood at 5.7 mnt Apr-Oct'22, an increase of 117% y-o-y. NLCIL is majorly a lignite miner. However, Talabira OCP in Odisha is the sole coal mine allocated to it. Notably, the mine's coal production in Oct'22 was 0.7 mnt, a 5.6 % y-o-y decline.
