Anglo American has pledged to obtain 100% renewable electricity for its Australian plants starting in 2025, as part of its aim to achieve carbon neutrality by 2040. The company agreed terms for a 10-year partnership with Stanwell Corporation for supply of renewable energy. Stanwell Corporation is investing in 650 MW of renewables capacities in Queensland which are linked to two major wind and solar projects.
