Coal India Ltd (CIL) has initiated tenth tranche of coal auctions under the Shakti scheme for private power producers who do not have power purchase agreements (PPAs). For the latest round, the miner has offered a total of 4.08 mnt of coal for sales for the Jul-Sep'22 quarter, which will take place in a ten-day-long auction process starting 8 August.
