China's met coke production increased by 4.4% y-o-y to 77.63 mnt in Jan-Feb'23. Even though the nation abandoned its zero Covid policy, there was not much increase seen in output. Due to rising production costs, met coke manufacturers were operating at low rates as steel mills are refusing to accept increased prices.
